What about the security and integrity of my client data?
With all engagements, your client data resides on ABACA's secure server systems in Canada. All our business-critical applications also reside within this Canadian network infrastructure. Within our advanced secure communications environment, we have implemented a highly robust Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure with redundant high-speed trans-oceanic links.
Our "Cloud-based" architecture provides both our Canadian and International offices with the ability to concurrently work directly to and from our central data centre systems. Deploying "thin-client" systems, only users and groups authenticated by their domain credentials are able to access designated applications and data. All communications are provisioned through a full-featured systems management console located within our Canadian control centre. We have a complete paperless environment - there is no access to printers, or removable media devices.
ABACA applies complete redundancy procedures at the data center. Our hardware and processes incorporate state-of-the-art technology to maximize information security and client confidentiality. Across ABACA's network we implement a multi-level security system utilizing encrypted passwords, 128-bit SSL encryption and user-security certification protocols.
Do you outsource to a third party?
No. Our International offices are staffed with professional accountants that we personally interview, select and train. Our accountants that process your files all are graduates from recognized university accounting programs.
What do we have to do at our end before we hand it off to you?
Depending on your choice of service offering, you will simply initiate your file request and ABACA accountants do the rest. With corporate files, we will roll forward your CaseWare™ file, import the GL from your client's accounting file, organize the supporting documents and our experts will process your file to its completion and return to you.
How do I track the progress of my files?
ABACA provides you with secure login credentials to access its advanced WorkFlow Management system. With your 24/7 access you have instant information on the status of every file in production.
What about the quality of work executed on my files?
Files that are prepared are subject to a first level review by an ABACA staff accountant, then to an accountant supervisor who subsequently conducts a second level review and finally to ABACA's Quality Control Team who conducts a final review prior to the file hand-off back to you.
Who do we call if we have questions on the file?
In addition to assigning an account coordinator from our Canadian offices who will be your primary "human contact", we further assign a designated Canadian accountant who will be responsible for answering and clarifying any detailed technical and tax queries.
Can you do rush jobs?
Yes – In addition to our standard guarantee return of between 5 to 10 business days, we offer a Premium Express service (3-4 day turnaround) and Critical Express service (24 hour turnaround) to guarantee your requested due date.
What about the quality standards?
ABACA deliverables meet the stringent Canadian regulatory guidelines and meet all of the practice review compliance requirements.
