Services details

ABACA offers two service levels for the processing of T1 returns. Both our Premium and Basic services are priced with a base file opening fee plus an hourly charge rate. Your T1s are completed, reviewed and returned with a turnaround time of under 72 hours.

Our Basic service provides you with a paperless compliant file where all information from the source documents has been entered into your tax preparation software. Additionally, we prepare a comprehensive bookmarked PDF of source documents.

Subscribing to our Premium service, ABACA adds an extra level of review and Quality Control initiated by a designated accountant. This includes identifying tax planning opportunities and optimization of credits / deductions. We also follow up regarding any missing information and finalize your file subsequent to your client review with the taxpayer. The Premium level file will contain a T1 checklist with Quality Control verification which will simplify your efforts of final review.

What we do

For T1 File Preparation, ABACA:
  • Rolls forward T1 file
  • Creates an organized and bookmarked PDF (data is neatly organized into categories) allowing for a fast review alongside T1 return
  • Ensures that all source documents are embedded, linked, cross-referenced and signed-off by ABACA Staff.
  • For TaxPrep users – the PDF will be within the tax return data file
  • For Profile users – the PDF will be separate from the tax return data file so you can HyperDoc the PDF and tax return data file on your server.
  • Ensures that all reconciliations or notes regarding tax treatment are clearly documented.
  • Completes the T1 return according to your preferences
  • Provides a completed T1 checklist to facilitate simplified file review
